binocular glasses - it's all here

Once you've looked through them, you want to see everything through your binoculars, they make everything closer and clearer. So you've been bitten by the astronomy bug and want to get started with your very own telescope, but you're confused by the vast number of possible purchases?

When beginning a day of binocular observations, it is tempting to leave the binocular case in the car or at the base camp and rely on neck straps or other attachment mechanisms to secure the unit. Transporting a telescope has always been a difficult assignment because the instrument is cumbersome and setup is an involved process. Law enforcement agencies prefer to use second-generation binoculars.

There are giant binoculars available with higher magnifications and apertures which are designed for astronomy use but you will certainly need a sturdy tripod or mount to use them. Binocular lens protectors have to be used when not using them.

Water-shedding lens protectors have a special coating that allows water droplets to bounce off the surface, which helps reduce repeated cleaning of lens. The only negative review I have to offer that the lens caps are cheap and are nowhere near the quality of the rest of the binoculars. You want to become adept at identifying a bird correctly.

Spend the money on a pair of binoculars that you can afford. The newer binoculars are very lightweight making them ideal to pack in your lightweight luggage.
